Executive Members

The 26 member ICORG Executive is comprised of a mixture of elected positions and site principal investigators. The elected positions are in place on a modality interest group basis. The medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation, haematology and research leadership positions are each nominated by the membership of that modality group. The patient advocate position is assigned by the Executive Chair. The GCO CEO, the Group Development Executive, the SDMO Director, and the Group Statistician are all operational positions that come with a place on the Executive.  All elected positions on the Executive are for a term of four years.

The Executive meets five to six times per year and makes all Group strategic and operational decisions. Executive decisions are made in a democratic way with a consensus reached between all members of the Executive, where possible. These decisions are informed by the eleven active disease specific sub-groups and two further sub committees, the Finance Committee and the Executive Management Group.
