ICORG would like to announce that an abstract for the ICORG study Nilotinib (ICORG 08-02) has recently been accepted by The American Society of Haematology (ASH) as a poster presentation. This abstract has been prepared by Prof Michael O’ Dwyer and Dr Eibhlin Conneally and will be discussed at The American Society of Haematology 51st Annual Meeting and Exposition which will be held from 5th – 8th December, 2009 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The principal investigators for the study are Prof Michael O’ Dwyer and Dr Eibhlin Conneally.

ECCO15, ESMO 34 2009
The joint ECCO 15th- 34th ESMO Multidiciplinary Congress took place in Berlin from 20th – 24th September 2009. ICORG’s contribution to two studies was acknowledged in three oral presentations. One presentation was for the CIRG/TORI010 study for which Dr John Kennedy from St James’s Hospital is the ICORG author.  Two presentations were for the MRC Coin study for which Dr Richard Wilson from BCH is the ICORG author. ICORG’s key contribution to the NSABP–C08 study was acknowledged in a full peer reviewed article in the Journal of Clinical Oncology published recently. Dr Seamus O’Reilly is the Group’s nominated author for the study. To view the publication please click here.
